I hope you’ve enjoyed reading all about my wedding ceremony and reception because I have absolutely loved writing about them. I think one of the best parts of writing about personal events on a blog is having that record of moments in your life and the opportunity to share it with others. Now that we covered all the big moments of the wedding, I wanted to share a few photos from getting ready the day-of as well as our first look and portraits we took at the State Capitol.

As some of you know, at the end of 2017, Zach and I got married! I thought it would be fun to share with you some details of planning the wedding, how the day actually played out, and share wedding photos. Since weddings have so many details, I am going to break this up into a series of posts, starting with the ceremony.
To me, a cactus represents patience, dependability, resilience, and strength. It’s not threatening at all; just don’t mess with it, and it won’t mess with you. :D Basically, we should all be cacti.
